Our Ecosyndicalism strand works on the power and urgency of labour organizing in the ecosystem crisis. This stand is about the tactics and strategies that grassroots syndicalists and trade unionist can pursue to further a just socio-ecological transition. Examples include anti-racist and feminist syndicalism, ecological unionism, bargaining for the common good, and whole worker & social movement organizing.

In the 2022 course on Climate and the Social Question, we facilitated exchange and alliance building between trade unionists and climate activists.

We have organized public events, workshops, podcast interviews, or learning processes with activists from Jornaleras de Huelva en Lucha, the ex-GKN factory occupation, the Mobile Migrant Workers University, as well as rank and file unionists in various major unions. In our work we also learn from organizers such as Valery Alzaga and Daniel Gutiérrez, and scholars like Nora Räthzel, Emanuele Leonardi, Ulrich Brand, and Stefania Barca.
